The capital of Baja California Sur state, this dream destination is known for stunning beaches, vibrant marine life, and laid-back vibes.

One of La Paz’s biggest draws is the chance to swim with whale sharks — which you can only do if you book one of these La Paz whale shark tours.
In case you’re unfamiliar, whale sharks are the largest fish in the sea, averaging about 15- to 25-feet long (4-7 meters).

The ideal time to visit La Paz Mexico is between October and April — though this is also the high season, so expect higher prices on La Paz hotels and flights.
During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm without being scorching hot, and the water is perfect for activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming.
