How to visit Xcaret on your own
The 3 easiest ways are: 1) rent a car and drive to Xcaret, 2) take the ADO bus (available for the Xcaret and Xel-Há parks only), and 3) hail a taxi.
Depending on where you’re coming from, there might be Uber available. Uber has service in Cancun, but there’s no Uber in Tulum or Playa del Carmen.
Since there’s no Uber in Riviera Maya, where the Xcaret adventure parks are located, you can’t call an Uber for the ride back. However, taxis are available.

You’ll want to arrive early so that you get the most bang for your buck — especially at Xel-Há with the all-inclusive package.
If you can, arrive about 15 minutes before opening so you’re in line and among the first to get in right when they open.

As someone who’s been to all the Xcaret parks, I have to say Xel-Há is my favorite, followed by Xplor, and Xcaret — but I also think there’s no misses because all the parks are fun and have something different to offer.
