Looking for the best Ixtapa Airbnbs?

You’re in the right place as I’ve called Mexico home since 2018, and I’ve stayed in 50+ Airbnbs all over the country.

Ixtapa is a beach resort next to Zihuatanejo, with a marina, two golf courses and Isla Ixtapa a short boat ride away — and some of Mexico’s best Airbnbs.

👀 Curious about my top pick? It’s the family villa with a private pool and a ground-floor suite near the hotel zone — check it out here.

The tricky part is that Ixtapa’s rentals are split between the hotel zone, the marina and the golf club, and each area has a different feel. That’s where I come in!

I’ve hand-picked a list of places, all with nearly-5 star ratings, lots of glowing reviews, and Airbnb’s Guest Favorite badge.
